Pattern: Megan Nielsen Darling Ranges. I didn't make any changes to the pattern from the last time I made this (back in 2018) although it did come out pretty different, wider in the bodice, however I'm glad this happened as I was after a more relaxed, smock like fit.
Fabric: Monstera leaf print linen look viscose. Lovely and drapey and super easy to sew with. I picked this up on a whim from an ebay shop. I ot 3 meters so have a nice chunk left over for another project. I love the colours.
Notions: Lazy af but totally satisfying, I used poppers instead of buttons. I just couldn't stand the thought of all of those button holes and seeing as I have an excess of poppers I used up my navy stash on this dress. Super quick and I quite like the overall look.
Thoughts: I really like the oversized feel of this dress but conceed it does look better with a belt to sinch in the waist. The weather has really picked up and I got some good wear out of this over the Easter weekend (you know, in the times we can be bothered to get properly dressed at the moment) Hoping for a good summer ahead where we can actually be outside and I think I'll be wearing this one quite a bit.
